Our junior B footballers will hope to get back to winning ways when they face Doneraile in the next round of the Cavanagh’s of Fermoy division 3 football league. This game takes place on Saturday afternoon next (4th March).

Tickets for the Cavanagh’s of Fermoy car draw are available from the following outlets: Fitzgerald Hurleys, Araglin; Emmet’s Shop, Araglin and Tony Dalton’s Shop, Kilworth. Tickets are €20 or 3 for €50. Draw to take place in April.

The annual Kilworth & Araglin point-to-points take place on Sunday 12th March at the Ballylacken venue.

A fundraising cycle in aid of Araglin National School takes place on Sunday March 26th.
Play coming up in Araglin
Members of Araglin Drama Group are busy rehearsing for ‘The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley’ – this entertaining comedy is scheduled to take place in Araglin Community Centre on Sat. night, 25th March.
Carnival meeting tonight in hall
A meeting of Araglin Carnival committee takes place in the hall tonight (Thursday 2nd March) at 9pm.
Mud run expertise sought
Individuals who have participated in a mud run or who have knowledge about this event are asked to contact a member of the Araglin Carnival committee.
Bingo in the hall on Friday evening
2017 has been a great year for bingo in Araglin Hall and organisers will be hoping to keep their good run going on Friday night,  3rd March at 8.30pm. This is a very accessible pastime and everyone is welcome. Admission includes complimentary refreshments at the interval. The bingo jackpot is up to €2,500.  
Recent bereavements
The club extends sympathy to the Hyland family on the death of Tom Hyland in Knocknacarra, Co. Galway and to the Hoye family on the death of Michael Brosnan in Castletownroche. May they rest in peace.
